SETTING: Another Hound is a smart eatery divided into two separate rooms. The interior is theatrical and sophisticated.

FOOD: The menu serves a combination of Italian, contemporary Thai and fusion food. To whet your appetite, try fried salmon spring roll served with black vinegar sauce, a good dish to share amongst friends. Other good appetisers include spicy grilled lamb with spicy Thai sauce, and salmon sashimi in spicy hot sauce. The pasta and rice dishes here are excellent, and liver pate and spinach ravioli with basil leaves, green pepper and chillies is a delicious fusion dish. For entrees, not to be missed is fried pepper steak with green mango sauce; the tender steak balances well with the sharp mango sauce. There are also a good selection of sandwiches, salads and vegetarian dishes, and the desserts here are creative and equally mouth-watering.

WINE: On offer is a house red and white, by the bottle or glass.
