SETTING: Two open dining salas lead to an open lawn with a bar and terrace at the far end with views of the ocean.
FOOD: Most of the menu is unpretentious homestyle Thai cuisine. And though the chef has remained faithful to the traditional recipes he adds a Let's Sea touch to create food that matches not just the restaurant but also the destination. The menu also features international dishes that sit comfortably beside the Thai. Aromatic fish cakes wrapped in mini croutons are a good starter, with the croutons adding a crunchy bite to the dish. Another good starter is charcoal-seared scallops in their shell on a bed of rock salt, while seared tuna coated with black and white sesame is light and tasty. Lobster cappuccino served in an espresso cup has an intense yet balanced taste, while mussels Let's Sea style is a version of the classic moule marinier. Coconut with Malibu ice cream served with Thai bananas is the perfect end.
WINE: A good selection of medium-priced wines that match the food and the location.
SERVICE: Highly professional and efficent service.
PRICE: A three-course meal for two will cost 1,500 to 2,000 baht without wine. |
