FOOD: While ordering, complimentary bowls of pate, diced tomatoes and olives are served with freshly grilled bread. The dining experience ranges from a simple pizza (house speciality) to a full meal. Porcini mushroom risotto generously portioned with just a sprig of basil leaves as garnish is nicely moist and delightfully tasty. Saltimbocca alla Roma, thinly sliced veal and layered with ham, is cooked to succulent perfection. A dusting of nutmeg on the accompanying mashed potato gives it a pleasant twist, while the side of vegetables has the essential al dente crispness. To finish, white and dark chocolate mousse, presented on a bed of contrasting chocolate powder, is
perfect for the sweet-toothed.
