SETTING: Situated on the mountainside between Chaweng and Lamai, this stylish restaurant offers stunning views of the bay.
FOOD: With two successful restaurants in Bangkok, master chef Bradley Mums certainly knows how to please. Using top quality ingredients, his ample dishes infused with Mediterranean flavours result in a satisfying meal. Complimentary bruschetta is delivered to the table whilst you peruse the menu. The wide selection of appetisers include salad combinations; Mediterranean salad with mature cheddar, cashew nuts and apple is a favourite, as is New Zealand mussels in a rich and creamy white wine sauce. For mains, the steaks, imported from Australia and aged for 21 days, are cooked to perfection on a charcoal range. Desserts include caramelised banana pancake topped with Italian ice cream, or delightful tiramisu.
WINE: The extensive wine list will be further enhanced by a huge cellar to be added.
SERVICE: Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to the management. The staff is cheerful, competent and enhances the casual dining atmosphere.
PRICE: Very good value for money. A meal for two without wine costs about 1,600 baht. |
