Amex Welcome Coyote On Convent
MEXICAN

SIVADON BUILDING, 1/2 CONVENT RD, BANGKOK 10500, TEL: 0-2631-2324-5
SETTING: Located right in the middle of Silom, Coyote provides iesta-style Mexican fare in a two-storey setting. the upstairs is a little more formal while the downstairs is more of a margarita bar.

FOOD: There are no surprises on the menu; the traditional Mexican dishes are served in generous proportions and imbued with plenty of taste. Start with pulled pork or shredded chicken Mexican spring rolls stuffed and deep-fried, and maybe a combo of cowboy skewers with chicken beef and ish. Coyote's food is for sharing, so order from a selection of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chimichungas, fajitas or if taste buds permit, firehouse chilli. Desserts are more tex than mex but satisfying and well presented. Not exactly fine dining, but really well cooked and filling food with no culinary surprises.

4

WINE: Just four basic house wines (two red and two white) are adequate for the food on offer in the menu.

8

SERVICE: The girls in their predictable hipster jeans and cowboy hats provide a friendly and eficient service.

PRICE: Reasonably priced for the quality of food. Expect to pay about 1,500 for two without wine.
