SETTING
The restaurant’s interior represents a homey wooden house with pictures of Italy hanging on the walls of bright red, white and yellow. There is an al fresco dining area out front .
FOOD
It is a simple Italian eatery with plain but tasty fare.Oodles of noodles make up most of the menu, namely spaghetti, fettucine, linguine, penne and ravioli.
Pizzas add to the Italian touch. Several dishes should please meat lovers such as pork chops, New Zealand rack of lamb, steak and grilled salmon. Appetiser of beef carpaccio is surprisingly tasty, with a huge plate of thinly sliced beef surrounding zesty salad with Italian
dressing. Caesar salad is delectably creamy while spinach ravioli with tomato sauce arrives in the hugest of huge green ravioli pieces stuffed with generous spinach and cheese, topped with hearty tomato sauce. However penne and salmon with caviar cream sauce is rather
average, lacking the richness in the sauce. Several desserts aside from gelato are available. Panna cotta cream with strawberry sauce is sinfully savoury, thick and creamy. Gelato cassata, layered ice cream of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, is a nice way to end the meal.
WINES
Approximately 30 items make up the wine menu with origins from Italy, Australia and France.
House wine is 220 baht. The list is constantly revised to provide diners with the latest imports.
SERVICE
Staff is smartly dressed in black and white.
Though courteous, they are sometimes out of sight when needed.
PRICE
A full-course meal for two persons can be had for about 1,300 Baht, without wine.
