FOOD
The provincial-style fare is exactly what you would expect at a fine country bistro in France with chef Rubesh often amalgamating Thai produce and flavours to enhance the cuisine. A hint of mustard tarts up the vinaigrette dressing in the green salad, which harmonises with home-made pate de campagne and crusty rolls. Be careful not to over-order selections as the main courses come in ample portions, even for healthy appetites. Beef bourguignon is a rich stew of tender beef, carrots and mushrooms cooked slowly with red wine and selected herbs, and served with creamy mashed potatoes. Another favourite among the regular clientele is duck with honey, several slices of duck breast simmered in a red wine and honey sauce. The bistro also offers a selection of pork, chicken and seafood dishes, each prepared with a choice of wine, cream or provencale herb sauces, and several Thai dishes. For dessert, crepes or banana flambe provides the sweet finale to the meal and either goes well with French espresso or cappuccino.
WINES
The chef selects the wine stock and offers a choice of three reds and one white, all very reasonably priced. House wines are available by the glass or carafe.

The owners personally take your order, recommending dishes to suit your taste and hunger quotient. Friendly, caring and knowledgeable.
