FOOD
Chef and owner Pascal Schnyder, also conseilleur gastronomique of the local Chaine des Rotisseurs, has maintained exacting standards
after many years in five-star hotels and restaurants all over the world. The salmon is smoked to his own instructions, and grav lax here is superb. Tuna carpaccio with finely sliced apple and fennel salad presents a wonderful combination and comparison of tastes and
textures. Pascal’s goose liver appetisers are excellent, either as a terrine or the warm panfried item. For a traditional dish, try veal
sweetbread with marinated dates. The menu items are changed regularly, and there will always be something new for the discerning diner. There are also all-inclusive set menus including unlimited
wines, which are very popular.
WINES
The cellar has been expanded since last year and the selection of wines from both the old and new worlds has much greater depth. Many
choices are available under 2,000 baht, but the better performing wines reflect a premium.
SERVICE
Young staff provides attentive service. Well-trained in fine dining service, including decanting of the better reds. Consistently high
standards are maintained.
PRICE
An excellent dinner for two, without wine, can be enjoyed for about 2,000 baht.
