Senses is located in the upscale shopping mall Gaysorn, and is surrounded by brand-name shops. Contemporary and airy, it is the perfect resting place for shoppers to wind down while enjoying a delicious meal or snack.

FOOD

The menu offers quite a variety, especially considering the eatery is located in a shopping mall. There are selections of European and Thai dishes featuring an array of appetisers and single dishes such as rice, noodles, pasta, sandwiches and salads. The more contemporary items include sushi sandwich of smoked salmon, rice and cucumber layered between nori sheets. Senses spring rolls has practically become its signature dish, pleasing in both presentation and taste, and arriving as very long, thinly rolled sticks. Salad of the senses is tasty with a piquant french dressing, fresh vegetables and sliced smoked salmon. Senses pink caviar spaghetti is creamy with shrimp roe simmered in garlic cream sauce and parsley. For a crispy dish, fish and chips goes well with the accompanying tartare sauce, with the chips deliciously fried to the right temperature. Those with a sweet tooth should be happy with the sumptuous home-made cakes displayed at the entrance. They taste as good as they look.

A rather limited wine list with most from France and Italy, in the moderate price range.

SERVICE

The courteous waitstaff is attentive and on hand, and copes fine even on nights when it gets very crowded with events held at Gaysorn.

PRICE

A delicious meal leaving two people full and contented comes to about 1,000 baht, without wine or drinks.
