SETTING
A warm, inviting indoor setting is available but outside in the beautiful garden, under the teak sala with traditional Thai-style seating, the ambience is magical and relaxing.
FOOD
The main dishes here are almost all seafood and diners are offered the chance to pick the type of seafood they want and the cooking
style they prefer as well as order a la carte dishes. Some dishes each of beef, chicken, duck and pork are on the menu with the rest consisting of seafood and some vegetable side dishes and rice and noodle offerings. Appetisers tend toward the traditional with som tam, pomelo salad and prawn spring rolls present. Salads are also well represented with dishes like deep-fried crispy duck salad with cashews, which is wonderful, and four varieties of larb. A seafood basket for two (also available for four) comes with sea bass, Phuket
lobster, blue crab, huge prawns and scallops. Careful preparations, interesting presentations and completely fresh ingredients result in dishes that capture a certain refinement of flavour and uniqueness of their own.
WINES
Wines by the glass are uniformly good and there are eight of them to choose from. Try the Hardy shiraz or chardonnay especially. The rest of the list is well put together from many countries and provides a wide range of prices.
SERVICE
Service is uniformly good with personable wait staff who is well trained and efficient and helps with recommendations.
PRICE
Two people can have a full meal for about 3,000-3,500 baht.
