SETTING
Situated on the EL floor which takes you to the 25th floor. Diners can enjoy a picturesque view of Benjasiri park here. The interior of the restaurant is in a contemporary Chinese style displaying oriental art and Chinese wooden furniture.
FOOD
The Emporia offers a long list of authentic Cantonese dishes. Dim sum is served during lunchtime. The a la carte menu is divided
into sections of abalone, shellfish, crab, poultry, meats, seafood, rice and noodles. For starters, try double-steamed bamboo with black mushroom or soup with Chinese herbs, both of which are flavourful, very aromatic and not too heavy. For a main course, sauteed scallops with XO sauce is highly recommended. Double-boiled pigeon with
Chinese herbs in casserole gives a real Cantonese taste. A variety of rice and noodle dishes are available; try fried rice with egg white and
seafood, very tasty with fresh prawns and scallops. Other favourites are braised pork spare ribs with Chinese wine, sauteed beef with clam
sauce and braised sliced abalone with gooseweb and fish maw. For dessert, end the meal with double-boiled bird’s nest with hot coconut milk or almond cream with gingko nuts.
