Soi Langsuan has established itself as a good dining area. The restaurant is decorated in a modern style with a smart and trendy look incorporating a black-and-white theme. There is a nice garden outside with a terrace set with additional tables for al fresco dining.

FOOD

The Ninth Cafe offers a wide range of choices with Thai as well as international selections. A recommended appetiser is baby clams au gratin served with garlic bread; the herbal sauce is delicious with the juicy baby clams. Follow this with caesar salad, which comes in a generous portion and with just the right amount of dressing. For the main dish, try roti with chicken or beef curry; the crispy roti goes perfectly well with the not-too-spicy curry. For those into Thai East-West food, you will not go wrong with sticky rice with grilled sirloin beef with Thai spicy sauce; the beef is tender and tasty with the tangy northeastern sauce. But for those who prefer European dishes, enjoy fillet of sea bass with lemon and parsley crusted with garlic and mashed potatoes, or house specialty grilled salmon with fresh tomato sauce. Some fusion dishes are available as well. For dessert, the restaurant offers mouth-watering home-made cakes and ice creams.

A good selection with wines from France, Australia and Chile to choose from at prices which are rather reasonable.
